Drinks to Bring to the Barn Christmas Party

Peppermint Bark Mimosas

 

If you’re looking for a festive drink, then look no further! Peppermint Bark Mimosas are refreshing and easy to make. Here’s the recipe:

 

Ingredients

 

1/4 cups of semisweet chocolate chips, melted

3 candy canes, crushed

6 oz. peppermint schnapps, divided

1 bottle champagne or prosecco

6 candy canes, whole

 

Directions:

  1. Pour melted chocolate onto a small plate. Pour crushed candy canes onto a separate plate. Dip rims of champagne flutes first in chocolate, then in crushed candy canes to coat.

  2. Add an ounce of peppermint schnapps to each glass, then top with champagne or prosecco. Garnish with full candy canes before serving.

Santa Clausmopolitan

 

This next holiday cocktail is inspired by the famous man himself, Santa Claus. Follow along this recipe for delicious, red drinks!

 

Ingredients

 

1 Lime wedge for the rim

1 cup white sanding sugar

1 cup vodka

1 1/2 cup cranberry juice

1/4 cup triple sec

1/4 cup fresh lime juice

1/2 cup fresh cranberries

 

Directions:

  • 1. Run a lime wedge around the rim of each glass and then dip in sanding sugar.

  • 2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice; then add vodka, cranberry juice, triple sec, and lime juice. Shake until the cocktail shaker is cold.

  • 3. Divide drinks between rimmed glasses and add cranberries for garnish.

White Christmas Margaritas

Ingredients

 

1 (14-oz.) can coconut milk

12 oz. silver tequila

8 oz. triple sec

1/2 cup lime juice

2 cup ice

1/2 cup mint, for garnish

1 lime, sliced into rounds for garnish

1 Lime wedge, for rimming glass

1 cup sanding sugar, for rimming glass

Cranberries, for garnish

 

Directions:

  1. Combine coconut milk, tequila, triple sec, lime juice and ice in a blender. Blend until smooth.

  2. Rim glasses with lime wedge and dip in sanding sugar. Pour into glass and garnish with lime and cranberries. Serve.
