Are Your Horses Traveling Safely?

Horses travel all over the country - especially show horses. To make sure that your horse is hauling safely and is comfortable; one suggestion is to make sure that you are feeding them correctly during their travels.

Horses are grazing animals, which means they are supposed to eat small portions of hay/grass throughout the day. The best way to ensure your horse is eating while they travel is to properly install hay bags in their trailer slot.

Having a hay bag where a horse can feed while trailering is a valuable item to have and is a purchase that is worth every penny. The three hay bags I swear by are:
